Hoosier Antiques is owned an operated in by the Finley family out of Bloomington, Indiana. They have been in the business for over 35 years and providing their customers from around Indiana and the USA with quality antiques. Hoosier Antique Owners Bill has been interested in antiques, particularly primitives, since he was a teenager. He collected primitive tools and early weapons during the 35 years he taught social studies to middle schoolers. He also coached football and wrestling at the high school level for many years. When he retired from coaching, Bill began Hoosier Antiques in the 80's. He now has booths in several local antique malls. Going to auctions, flea markets, and working in his booths keeps Bill busy with his business so he occasionally enlists the help of his wife, Sharon, who also taught middle school.Bill Finley - Owner & Antiques Director Sharon Finley - Owner & Interior Design Director Sharon was an English teacher so, naturally, she is the one who helps with writing descriptions. She also likes to offer advice( which may not be accepted.) Her expertise with antiques lies in the area of decorating. The Finley home is filled with early American antiques, with a "lodge look" family room which accommodates their four children with their spouses and their seven grandchildren. The Finleys like usable, casual items, but have been known to find an elegant item to offer for sale. We hope you enjoy shopping with us.
